What are Sun Spots?

Sunspots are small, flat, darkened areas that appear on the skin as a result of prolonged sun exposure, they typically range in color from light brown to dark brown.

How We Treat Sun Spots?

There are several treatment options available for sunspots, depending on the severity and individual preferences.

An approach to treat sun spots could be chemical peels which involve the application of a chemical solution to the skin, which exfoliates the outer layer, encouraging the growth of new, evenly pigmented skin. Alternative, laser treatments, such as intense pulsed light (IPL) can effectively target and lighten sunspots. These treatments use light energy to break down the excess melanin, stimulating the skin’s natural healing process and leading to a more even skin tone. Multiple sessions may be required for optimal results.
