RF Treatment Post Care Instructions
RF Post-Treatment Instructions
To maximize your stractural RF results and support your skin’s healing process, follow these guidelines:
-
Stay Hydrated:
Drink plenty of water to maintain skin hydration and assist in collagen regeneration. -
Avoid Sun Exposure:
Refrain from direct sunlight. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen if sun exposure is unavoidable. -
Skip Heat Treatments:
Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or intense physical activity for 48 hours post-treatment. -
Avoid Skin Irritants:
Do not apply strong exfoliants, retinoids, or harsh skincare products for 5–7 days after your session. -
Be Gentle with Your Skin:
Avoid picking, scratching, or scrubbing the treated area. Use a gentle cleanser and a light, soothing moisturizer. -
Expect Minor Swelling or Redness:
Mild redness or swelling is common and typically resolves within a few hours to a few days. Apply a cold compress if needed. -
Temporary Skin Nodules:
Small nodules or bumps may appear in some areas. These are a temporary side effect caused by your body’s natural inflammatory and healing response. They typically resolve on their own within a few days to a few weeks. -
Do Not Schedule Other Treatments:
Wait at least two weeks before undergoing additional facial treatments or chemical peels. -
Results Timeline:
Some initial skin tightening may be visible right away. However, optimal results appear gradually over 2–3 months as new collagen forms. Follow-up sessions should be scheduled as recommended by your provider.
