Sensitive Skin Treatment
What is Sensitive Skin?
Sensitive skin is a condition, but can also be genetically predisposed. It is when the skin may have reduced tolerance to the application of cosmetics and personal care products. This skin condition can appear in all skin types and should be handled carefully as not to cause extra stimulation. It can be challenging to treat as the skin can be reactive to products and have a history of allergies.
External symptoms of this condition may look like erythema (permanent redness caused by stagnation in blood flow), erythosis (redness that generally occurs on the T-zone area), and broken or dilated capillaries.
