How long does it take for acne to go away after treatment?
Acne treatments need time to work. Most pimples take 1-2 weeks to go away, and depending on each individuals skin some can take up to 6 weeks. If a treatment works for you, you should notice some improvement between 2 to 6 weeks.
Are Acne and Rosacea The Same Thing?
No, Acne is a skin condition that occurs when follicles in the skin become clogged with oil (sebum), dead skin cells, and sometimes bacteria. Whereas Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that usually causes blushing or flushing and visible blood vessels on your face. Both Acne and Rosacea cause redness, bumps, and pustules on the face, however, redness with acne tends to be located just around the pimple while the redness for rosacea typically covers a large area.
Do You Apply Moisturizer After Acne Treatment?
Yes. Using a moisturizing or hydrating product after a treatment is necessary for the skin to feel less discomfort, dryness or flakiness. During a treatment active agents or ingredients may cause the skin to dry out. Using a topical hydrating solution will help calm the skin down and reduce irritation while giving the skin nourishment.

Why Does Acne Appear Most Often in Teenagers?
During adolescence, oil glands get stimulated more easily when hormones become active during puberty. Acne can also run in the family; if one or both parents dealt with acne growing up, you are likely to as well. Additionally, stress is another source of acne in teenagers.
Is Acne Scarring Permanent?
While some scars are permanent, it mostly depends on the type of acne scar you have and how long it’s been there. Surface scars may be completely removed, and deeper acne scars are able to appear less noticeable as time goes and and with proper treatments.
